2009 Pro Bono Week:
October 25-31
The CBA and the CBF are co-sponsoring the 5th Annual Pro Bono Week from October 25-31, 2009. This year’s theme, inspired by Abraham Lincoln’s Bicentennial is: “With malice toward none, with charity to all.” The CBA Young Lawyers Section Pro Bono and Community Service Fair will once again be a centerpiece of Pro Bono Week, and will take place on the evening of Thursday, October 29th. Kirkland & Ellis LLP is generously hosting the Fair this year. More information about the events planned for Pro Bono Week...

Nationwide
In 2005, the CBA and the CBF launched our annual Pro Bono Week with the twin goals of honoring lawyers' pro bono efforts and educating the public and the legal community about how these lawyers are improving the lives of the less fortunate. In 2009, communities across the country will join Chicago in celebrating Pro Bono Week. The American Bar Association will sponsor a national Pro Bono Celebration, inspired in part by the success of Chicago’s annual Pro Bono Week.
