The new Chicago Bar Foundation Law Firm Leadership Circle underscores both the integral role that Chicago’s law firms have in ensuring equal access to our justice system and the critical importance of solid leadership from the top management of the firms.
The CBF Leadership Circle embodies best practices for law firms on pro bono, firm giving and related issues involving access to justice. Firms at the Gold and Platinum levels have made even more ambitious commitments towards these goals.
We invite other law firms in Chicago to join us in this cause that is uniquely important to our profession. Together, we can lead the way to closing the justice gap that exists in our community today by doing our part to ensure that all Chicagoans, particularly our low-income and disadvantaged neighbors, have access to the legal information and assistance they need.
Because if we as lawyers don’t take the lead in this cause, then who will?
