Corporate Support

Corporations in the Chicago area play a critical role in advancing The Chicago Bar Foundation's mission of mobilizing our legal community to use their time, money and influence so that low-income and disadvantaged Chicagoans can access the legal help they need. More than 100 corporations generously support the work of the CBF throughout the year.

The CBF asks corporations to advance this mission in three related and equally critical ways:

Financial support of the CBF through our Special Event Sponsorships, which help fund the CBF's comprehensive efforts to ensure that people in our community have access to the legal advice and assistance they need.

Participation in the CBF Investing in Justice Campaign, including a matching contribution whenever possible. 100 % of the money raised during our annual Campaign fund CBF grants that support a comprehensive range of legal services to many thousands of people in need including the elderly, the disabled, veterans, children, domestic violence victims and people at risk of losing their homes.

Agreeing to join the growing number of corporations and business partners who have signed on as members of the CBF Corporate and CBF Partners Leadership Circles. Membership in the CBF Leadership Circles demonstrates a full commitment to a broad range of support for our community's pro bono and legal aid system, including the aforementioned opportunities for financial support of the CBF and our grantee organizations, along with a number of other non-monetary contributions corporations can make in support of the cause.
