Investing in Justice

Life Fellows Program

The CBF Life Fellows Program is our oldest and largest individual donor program. CBF Life Fellows have helped give the CBF a solid base for our efforts to ensure that everyone in the Chicago metropolitan area, particularly the low-income and disadvantaged residents who are in most critical need of the protections of our justice system, has equal access to justice.

The Life Fellows Program is a giving opportunity designed for attorneys and others who are committed to the long-term sustainability of the CBF’s mission. Contributions and pledges help give the CBF the ability to address emerging needs and to invest in strategic initiatives that have the potential to contribute to the long-term strength of our community’s pro bono and legal aid system.

Members of the CBF Life Fellows Program make their commitment to this important cause by contributing at one of three levels below or by making a multi-year pledge (up to 5 years) for such a contribution:
Platinum
$5,000
Gold $2,500
Silver $1,500
Life Fellows pledges may be made in honor or memory of someone whose own legacy you would like to recognize.

Your commitment as a member of the CBF Life Fellows Program will receive significant recognition:
As a Life Fellows member, your name will be added to a plaque on permanent display at the Chicago Bar Association.

Active and sustaining Life Fellows members will also be acknowledged at the appropriate levels in our annual report, and at several other times throughout the year.

Additionally, Life Fellows members are invited to attend periodic special receptions.
