Dan Webb, the Chairman of Winston & Strawn, is the Chair of The Chicago Bar Foundation's 2nd Annual Investing in Justice Campaign.
The Campaign is a community-wide effort through which thousands of individual attorneys in law firms and corporations throughout the Chicago area come together to support a cause that is uniquely important to lawyers and the legal profession: ensuring that everyone, especially the most vulnerable members in our community, has access to justice.
More than 40 firms and corporate legal departments already are committed to participate in this year's Campaign. Click Here to see the list of this year's Leadership Team.
All contributions count for the Illinois Supreme Court Pro Bono Reporting Rule.
The CBF will use 100% of the funds raised in this year's Campaign for grants that will (a) strengthen Chicago's pro bono and legal aid organizations, (b) give these organizations the means to continue increasing their attorney salaries to levels that will allow them to stay in this work, and (c) underwrite innovative projects that make the justice system more user-friendly and accessible for those in need. More information about the CBF's comprehensive efforts in our community is available throughout this website and you can also watch the CBF Video here.
