8th Annual Fat Tuesday Challenge

This year’s Fat Tuesday Challenge was held on February 5th at North Beach Club. Highlights included a live performance by The Empty Can Band, the ever-popular sumo wrestling challenge (a crowd favorite for participants and spectators alike), and the hotly contested sand volleyball tournament, with teams fielded by sponsoring firms and companies. The eventhas grown over the past eight years into a unique opportunity for Chicago’s entire legal community to rally together in support of a very worthy cause. This year, more than 400 people came together to have fun and raise a record of almost $65,000in net proceeds, which will further the CBF’s comprehensive mission of ensuring that everyone in our community, especially the poor and disadvantaged, has access to the legal information and assistance they need.
