Equal Justice Works is a national organization that gives young attorneys the opportunity to pursue two-year paid fellowships at a wide variety of legal aid and public interest law organizations throughout the country. The two-year fellowships offer salary and generous loan repayment assistance; a national training and leadership development program; and other forms of support during the term of the fellowship and links the fellows into a growing national network of Equal Justice Works Fellows working on other legal aid and public interest law projects throughout the country. The Chicago Bar Foundation sponsors a new Fellowship each year and its grant funds are leveraged with matching funds from the Open Society Institute that fully fund each fellowship.
